Sunday, November 9, 2008 - Update
On Sunday, November 9 Mount Hope Church was vistited by a radical homosexual group. The group protested outside and also had members inside the sanctuary, screaming and throwing fliers. The Mount Hope team escorted the group out of the building and the Eaton County Sheriffs were called and responded immediately. There were no injuries. Immediately the children's area went to a heightened level of security. Mount Hope Church is taking this very seriously and is actively seeking legal council and reviewing our policies and procedures on how we will handle this type of demonstration should it occur in the future.click here for our official press release
